Storyline:
Daniel Rey along with his wife, Kristi; daughter, Ali; toddler son, Hunter, and their dog, move to Carlsbad, California. A few days later their residence is broken into, however, nothing appears to be missing. In order to prevent re-occurrences, they install a number of security cameras that will record everything on a DVR. After they hire a Spanish-speaking nanny to look after Hunter, she informs them that there is something wrong in their house and performs prayers, much to the chagrin of Daniel, who lets her go. He will subsequently regret this decision as more inexplicable and strange incidents occur, with Ali concluding, after a research, that their house may be possessed by a demonic entity.

Must disagree with everyone saying this one was more scary. The whole movie had a "been there, done that" feel. If you take PA1, Quarantine and Diary of the Dead and put them in a blender, you have PA2. Spoiler alert: The scene whether the father goes after the baby looked and felt exactly like the last scene in Quarantine. Scenes done with a night vision hand held camera are now old school: terrifying three years ago, ho hum today. Hollywood, you need a new gimmick.

This one was better than the first! I'll admit I was a bit of a skeptic at first. But this one absolutely terrified me. I felt sick to my stomach from the fear. I was left with an adrenaline rush at the end. No other movie has come close to that. Even better if you go with good audience.

I went and saw this after my son told me it was better then the first. I will be grounding him for the time I lost watching this movie. It was no better then the first, it was the. Very slow in the start. Slow in the middle and finally medium in the end. There was no scare factor. People in the audience were laughing at every "scary" part. Even the kids. Please God, keep them from making a number 3.

My, oh my, did I love this film! (Our whole group adored it.) It scared my boyfriend so bad that he had issues driving home that night! I liked this movie a lot. It was terrifying - way more terrifying and thrilling than the first movie by far (although they DID wrap the first movie with this one, so, everyone, these two films connect very nicely!). The acting was grand (especially the nanny's and the daughter's. They were great).
They directed it perfectly to make the suspense just right. I'd say anyone who doesn't wet themselves at the thought of a ghost should see this! It was great. If you like scary movies, you'll like this! I am definitely going to buy this film when it comes out and probably see it again in theaters!
